  • In order to the get most accurate results, you will need a soft measuring tape also known as a tailor’s tape.
  • If you don't have one, try measuring with a piece of string, for instance your earphone cord that you can measure against with a ruler.
  • All measurements should be taken while  you are naked from the waist up – no bra, no shirt please.
  • Please double check each measurement and enter them precisely into the Sizem calculator – decimals included!

 

 

 

Measuring the underbust

  • Stand in front of the mirror while measuring.
  • Keep your back straight, correct your posture if needed.
  • Make sure the measuring tape stays parallel to the floor.   
  • Lift your boobs before measuring to determine where your breast root ends at the bottom – that's where the tape should measure.

 

Fully exhale and at the same time pull the tape as tight as possible, almost as if you wanted to break the tape!
Double check and enter the number in the first box: Exhaled as tight as possible.

 

Fully exhale and pull the tape as tight as you can bear to be comfortable.
This measurement should show how tight you want your bra band to be.
Double check and enter the number in the second box: Exhaled comfortably tight.

 

Fully inhale and keep the tape as loose as it can be without sliding down. Make sure the tape is parallel to the floor.
Double check and enter the number in the third box: Inhaled loose.

Measuring the bust

  • Always measure over the fullest part of the bust.
  • Always keep the tape as loose as it can be without sliding down.
  • Do not include nipples in the measurement! You should measure across the nipple areola, but just under or above your nipple, wherever your fullest part of the breast is.

 

Stand straight and inhale. Measure over the fullest part of the bust loosely, making sure the tape is parallel to the floor. Double check and enter the number in the fourth box: Bust standing.

Lean forward at a 90 degree angle, keep your back parallel to the floor. Let your boobs hang freely and let gravity do its work. Measure around the fullest part of the bust loosely, making sure the tape is perpendicular to the floor. Do not try to push the breasts together by pulling the tape tighter! Double check and enter the number in the fifth box: Bust leaning.

Lay flat on the back on your bed or on the floor. No pillows! Let your boobs go wherever they want to go. Measure around the fullest part of the bust loosely, again making sure the tape is perpendicular to the floor. Double check and enter the number in the sixth box: Bust laying
